Women's Health Education

 

Our health educators teach vulnerable women how to: 

  1. Make healthy eating choices

  2. Adopt and live healthy lifestyles

  3. Protect themselves and their children from diseases and harmful exposures

  4. Self-identify and recognize symptoms of common illness

  5. Be proactive in seeking regular antenatal and postnatal care

  6. Adopt healthy self-medication practices

  7. Adopt hygienic practices  

  8. Prevent mother-to-infant HIV transmission

  9. Breast-feed their babies

  10. Manage chronic stressors
